Animal Art - Wildlife
Here you will find a selection of my favourite wildlife and animal art. I love to draw vibrant and detailed drawings, combining coloured pencils with mixed media including PanPastels and Watercolour. I also use graphite to create bold yet detailed, black and white animal art depicting the beauty of wild animals and birds from around the world.

Teefs
Show us your Teefs! This vibrant animal artwork shows a Jaguar roaring. Coloured pencil drawing with PanPastel background, painted on Pastelmat. Greetings cards are available at my Folksy shop

Rise Again
I was luck enough to visit the Big Cat Sanctuary in the Autumn of 2024, it was a lovely sunny day and there were four white lionesses snoozing in the sunshine - it was quite a sight! This is on of them sneaking a peek at what's going on!

Steely Gaze
I love lynx, they're so different from most of their feline relatives! This was my first full detailed drawing using graphite, I used a graphite block and a sponge to paint the misty out of focus background.

Fearless
The courage and silent strength of a lion. This animal drawing shows the direct gaze of a male lion. Drawn in coloured pencil on Pastelmat.

Kawabunga! When I saw the photo of this red eared slider turtle on the Wildlife Reference Photos website I just HAD to draw it! The artwork is drawn in coloured pencil on hot pressed watercolour paper. Greetings cards are now available from my Folksy shop.

It's a Cat and Mouse Game
This wildife artwork depicting an Amur tiger and harvest mouse was drawn for Sketch for Survival, 2022. This highlights the importance of conserving the smaller animals as well as the big ones! It's drawing in coloued pencil and PanPastel on Pastelmat.
